Following my oncologist's referral for chemo port removal, I attended an initial consultation at this doctor's Northridge office. After creating a patient portal and completing preliminary forms, I was asked to provide additional information upon arrival. The compact waiting room was empty, enabling a prompt meeting with the doctor. We arranged the surgery, and the nurse facilitated a swift authorization process. While the overall experience was efficient, culminating in surgery within a couple of days, I did not receive any guidance on post-surgical procedures or follow-up appointments. But overall Dr. Atiya was amazing I will definitely recommend this place.

We were referred to Dr. Atiya as an expert in open-heart surgery, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. He performed the bypass surgery using only chest arteries, avoiding the need for leg veins, and there were no complications afterward. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had him as our surgeon, and I hope others are just as lucky to benefit from his exceptional care.

Dr Atiya is the consumate cardio-thoracic surgeon. He was on my surgical team and has over 20 years experience on the table. Dr. Atiya is the best they come, no frills, old school and tells it straight.

I am a lung cancer/ lobectomy patient and I absolutely owe my life to Dr. Atiya. I love this Dr. Before I went into surgery he could tell I was upset and he stood beside me and made me feel better going into surgery. He was knowledgeable and informative. He also really took his time answering all of my questions.

Wonderful dr, amazingly efficient. Did three surgeries during open heart procedure on my husband is less than 4 hours. Amazing. Very personable.
