Absolutely AWFUL experience! Highly recommend you check this Dr's Yelp reviews as well. I see a common trend of people having a terrible experience and his total lack of caring. My stepmom was sent to see this Dr after having an EKG after having a TIA. He walked in late, listened to her heart for 2 min, and said..."You old! Your heart is enlarged because your old, and your heart is leaking because your old". Thats all she got from him after scheduling this appointment and waiting for 12 weeks to see him. He didnt discuss the results of the EKG she took after the TIA. Infact he said he didn't have the results. She told him he did have the results as his office confirmed they had received them before she came in...he acted annoyed and yelled at the nurse youwho said have the results in her file. He didn't bother to even look in the file before he came in to see her. He. Listened to her heart with the stethoscope and told he she was old and to come back in 6 months. That's it! He was awful and could care less about her health. This Dr is being sent patients from HMO's and he is terrible. Consider yourself warned if you go to this Doctor. Now we are on the search for another Dr having waisted 3 months waiting on this joker.

On July 25, 2014 I went to see Dr. Gupta with burning and pressure in my chest. He listened to my heart and lungs, THAT WAS ALL HE DID, barring scheduling a stress test 3 weeks later. On August 3, 2014, I went to the ER of Ventura Community Memorial Hospital and was informed I was having a heart attack. I was rushed into surgery and 2 stents were inserted into my main artery leading to my heart. The artery was 100% blocked. Three Doctors informed me that had at least an EKG been performed by Dr. Gupta, which is standard practice, my heart attack could have possibly been prevented.

Best Doctor I've seen for my condition! He was thorough, kind and best of all he treated me like a patient and not a 10 minute paycheck... He was very reassuring and indicated that he would continue to look for answers until we were BOTH satisfied. If you are worried about your heart... see him first!

I have been going to Dr. Gupta for years now and i am have been very happy with him. Walking into his office gives me peace of mind knowing that the staff and himself are there to put their patient's care first!
