I'm just now coming back to write this review from 2020 because I think it's important but haven't felt well enough after being sick until now. I never got to see him even though I had a stat referral during Covid shelter in place. I'm pretty sure I had Covid and was having left over chest pain, squeezing, shortness of breath and my family doc sent a stat referral but his appointment scheduler and office manager treated me very bad and refused to recognize the stat referral or to call my doctor. It was very stressful which added to my chest pain and racing heart to which his medical assistant said "well.. you can just go to the emergency room " like it was no big deal. Why would I go to the emergency room when my doctor wrote a stat referral to the cardiologist. It was very scary to think about going to an emergency room during the first part of the Covid stuff. They were very disrespectful me. I didn't feel like they cared.. at all... When I finally got a virtual appointment the doctor never showed so 10 minutes after he was supposed to join the appointment I called the office and spoke to the medical assistant and she said he's at the hospital doing rounds and we don't know when he'll be back. I told her that I couldn't do it if it was more than a 30 minute wait because I had other appointments so she said she would call me to check back in soon. 40 minutes later I still hadn't heard anything so I called and spoke to the office manager who said that the medical assistant said I canceled my appointment which I didn't. I told the manager how frustrated I was that the medical assistant dropped the ball and I'm having chest pain and stress and just wanted to see the doctor. Her response was that I wasn't a good fit for the office and she removed me as a patient. Is that how you treat someone with my condition? I spoke to her manager and she said she's sorry and she could still get me in to see him but I declined. If they treated me that bad before I was a patient how would they treat me when I was a patient?
