Patient
Dr. Rubin is BY FAR the best physician I have ever had. At 62 this speaks volumes. I come from a time when I lived in Marin County, was private pay and retained our boutique family medicine MD at $1,600 a month. This fee from 15 years ago, was a retainer only, and represented only that I could make an appt. and did not include premiums, deductables and co-pays. Dr. Rubin has a unique quality of helping to ease fear, and really listens, advises and recalls small details, passing comments from a mail message or during a quick goodbye from weeks ago! This, her charm, her intelligence as well as her ability to multitask, makes me feel comfortable and at ease, has led me to feel that I can trust her 100%. She follows up, even without an appt, to check on my status, and will either book a new appt, possibly order a new Rx, or say keep up the good work! Added bonus is that when sets my next appt, she has her awesome staff call me to be sure I notated the appt. Professional, with a heart, not dry or jaded, she appears to be very happy and seems to be thriving in her new role here at Kaiser. To feel heard, to feel like a partner in my own health care can only be achieved through a foundation of great doctoring!; with excellent listening skills and cheerful and enthusiastic demeanor and she seems to be very happy. She is smart, detail oriented and so easy to understand. I hit the JACKPOT when I chose her to be my new primary care physician! I vote for Dr. Soshanna Rubin to be the winner this year of Kaiser's Best #1 Primary Care Physician in Santa Rosa Kaiser's family of excellent doctors. She is a keeper and I feel quite fortunate to be in her practice! Katrina V. A long time member of NorCal's Kaiser Permanente
