Santa Paula Hospital

This place needs to be investigated along with their staff. HORRIBLE service to say the least. i was admitted here last year at the ER and one of the male nurses berated the nurse that attended to me about "stealing healing ointment packets" (that i asked for and NEEDED?) and i asked my nurse about why he spoke to her like that and he overheard and went out of his way to tell me to "mind my business before i assumed things about their relationship" (mind you, im unwell and he preferred to make a point to a sick patient INSTEAD of helping me feel better?) It was actually unbelievable! made me feel so uncomfortable. I also went in other times, they checked me in and did not listen to any of my concerns about medication, just brushed it off. 1+ hour wait for 5 minutes of advice that an actual doctor later had to treat for me. They really need to work on their service provided; especially because most people around the area have this as the only option to go to. DO BETTER and that male nurse needs to do better as well. I wish i got his name. I have heard so many other horror stories about this place, you're better off going anywhere else in the area!

I've been here twice for diagnostics. Encountered the same woman in radiology who makes things terribly difficult and is a poor communicator. Ended up not being able to get my chest x-rays because of so much red tape and she told me I'd have to come back in two or three days after my doctor was added to the system then I have to get my own records and send them to the doctor what's the point? My previous visit I made a complaint that never got resolved.JUST DON'T. Go to urgent care.

I called to see how my mom is doing and talked to a nurse that seemed to me she was not concerned about my concerns and talked totally unprofessional like talking to a teenager. My mom also said the AC wasn't working and the room was hot I am going down there and make some noise!

Terrible experience. I wouldn't reccomend it even to my worst enemy. They don't listen to what the patient has to say. You wait ungodly amounts of time just for different people every 5 minutes walking in and asking you the same shit, just for you leave empty handed and not even knowing what you have. Save yourself the disrespect and go to a better hospital in Ventura or Oxnard...... trust me

The hospital itself is great, we had our 2nd daughter here and everyone was excellent. My gripe is with the clinic. They're horrible at keeping their apt times, my wife had an apt at 9:45am here it is 10:45am and she's still waiting. They over book their apt's, and have piss poor time management skills. The parking lot is a complete joke, no where to park and there's a huge sink hole filled with water that will destroy your car if you're not careful.
