My experience is what medi- cal pays for. The quality of care is determined by my Gold COAST Coverage. The doctors are just working. The doctors are not heart felt. I even had a old, rude female doctor. I still haven't received the treatment I need.
I'd like to begin by saying that the staff at this clinic are very welcoming, friendly, and respectful and I'm always greeted with a smile, which I genuinely appreciate. However, I did experience some concerns during my appointments with Dr. Caroline Osuji. At my first visit, she asked me what the problem was, and after I began explaining my symptoms, she appeared annoyed and asked me again what the issue was, as if what I had said was irrelevant or as if I was incompetent. To add, on two separate occasions, after I described my symptoms and told her what brought me to visit the clinic, she immediately would tell me that I had to go to the emergency room. I was genuinely surprised and confused, because in both instances I was very confident that my symptoms did not need emergency care. Her repeated insistence of me to go to the ER felt disproportionate and, frankly, unprofessional. This pattern occurred during each of my visits with Dr. Osuji, and I'd leave the clinic feeling unheard and frustrated.
I was very nervous when I arrived, but it subsided quickly as I talked to the receptionist. She was very polite & informative. The doctor was very welcoming, polite, informative, as well as talked me through every step that he was doing. Yes, I would definitely refer someone to them.
This is one of the top locations... Highly recommended all staff super helpful and friendly... From the entrance all the way to the back!!
