Dr. Pooya Bookor, Cardiologist, saved my life. I met him 4 years ago at Santa Monica hospital. He and Dr. Dave performed emergency surgery on my heart. He came to see me in ICU, and I felt it instant connection. He treats me as if, I am his Mother or sister. He has changed my life for the best. He is loving and encouraging. He has encouraged me to change the way I eat, toward a vegan diet. I have benefited from the anti-inflammatory results of this new lifestyle. My pain levels are remarkably improved. He watches me like a hawk, in a lovely way! I am cared for wonderfully. I look forward to seeing him, and his awesomely sweet, and caring staff. Dr Bookor can do anything. How fortunate I am to have him as my doctor. He is exceptional. I am deeply appreciative to be alive and healthier than I have ever been. Thanks to his guidance that is easy to follow. I saw Dr. Mazar a year ago. Quite a disturbing visit. His nurse is incredible and so kind. But Dr. Mazar seems to be knowledgeable only in a pre-pandemic way. If you are dealing with long haul covid, he seemed to think it's a hoax and had no knowledge of the effects it can have on the heart. Which seems negligent to me. How does a doctor have a lack of knowledge on this, it's affecting millions of people. If you have a very simple, straightforward ailment you might have a good enough visit?

Excellent doctor and staff. Dr. Tabibiazar has been my cardiologist for over three years along with Dr. Eric Buch from Ucla Reagan Hospital. Their care and treatment has kept me healthy and happy. I've never had a problem when calling for questions or concerns. I strongly recommend Ucla Santa Monica Cardiology!

I've had a great experience with Dr Rafique. He put two stents in my heart, and has been very very professional, and follow up and general care.

I had to call to follow up about results. Twice. Then was told that something was abnormal but that it was all "fine. Don't worry about it". But not by a dr mind you. By a receptionist who had no business delivering the news.
