In my opinion, Dr. Levine is an old school practitioner, meaning that he listens to patients, spends time with them and fights for our rights (with insurance companies, for example). Yet he is a modern-day doc who is very familiar with all current tests and procedures. A rarity in medicine today.
I was resistant to medications after having had a heart attack. I had done a lot of research into Big Pharma and alternative medicines, leaving me full of doubt as to prescribed medications.
