Had stress test in the office and requested the results send to my cardiologist in Texas. They were never sent. I called and was told they would have to look for them and would send them when found. The clerk said she would call me when they were sent. 5 weeks later I never received a call so called back and when someone "FINALLY" answered the phone and the person I spoke to was not helpful at all and actually very rude. He told me to call my primary care doctor and ask them. Never going back there!

After seeing Dr. Popat a few times, I am strongly considering cancelling my upcoming follow up visit and finding a new office. Dr. Popat is a pleasant and knowledgeable doctor. He explained my condition and took time to see me without making me feel rushed. His medical assistant is sweet and friendly and the ultrasound tech is pleasant and professional. My reason for not wanting to return to this practice is due to the receptionist (Debbie) who works at the front desk. She is impatient, snotty and demeaning. I work in the healthcare field and cannot imagine the receptionist where I work being so unfriendly. I got this vibe the very first time I called to schedule an appointment and it should've been my heads up. When I called to simply confirm the date of my upcoming appointment as I had forgotten to put it on my schedule, she was totally condescending and advised me she would need to "investigate" when my last visit was and call me back, even though she was in the office. How hard is it to look up a patient's appointment and give them the date?? Four+ stars for the Dr. and his back office staff. Zero stars for the receptionist who drives away patients. I can't be the only one who feels this way.

After a year of seeing him we went to a different doctor. Turns out I was suppose to have certain test done periodically. No test were done. New doctor did angiogram and I have to have triple bypass, no thanks to pop at. He should retire or find a job at mcdonals

Dr. Popat is knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly and thorough. Hie is mild mannered and puts you at ease upon first meeting him. His office staff is also friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Popat has been my cardiologists for over 20 years he has done angiograms to make sure that my heart was in good shape he does in his office echocardiogram of your carotid and has kept me healthy he is a very nice and pleasant person very caring he referred me to Luke Faber for my carotid arteries I would not be here today if it wasn't for Dr. POPAT and Dr Faber working on me I am so grateful and I want to thank them both Walt Bottelsen inventor and entrepreneur Santa Maria California
