On two different occasions the prescribing Cardiologists and their Physician's Assistant simply needed to rectify a problem with my mail order pharmacy, Express Scripts, dealing with a vital blood thinner and a blood pressure medication they had prescribed, and totally ignored message after message from both Express Scripts and me. No action or response, whatsoever. So this is not a whoops slip-up. This is a chronic indifference towards their patients' welfare. Avoid it if you possibly can! The place is a zoo.

The worst and most incompetent staff/service. Maria had a sour attitude and Donya never returned our urgent call. Maria gave me false information even though I explained the situation to her. True customer care and service would have existed if she had 1, listened and 2, called the insurance company on behalf of the patient because the information the insurance company gave conflicted with what the office system had. What in the world is going on??? Get it together please this could be life or death for someone. I believe this warrants a formal complaint to the board. Dr. Miller please consult with management to get proper training for your staff. This is of utmost importance.

Dr. Ghosh is the Sherlock Holmes of cardiology. I was originally disappointed that I couldn't see Dr. Shaffer again, as he was so attentive and kind during previous visits. His schedule is just very full. I met Dr. Ghosh and could tell from the first visit that he was a grade A+ doctor with incredible bedside manner. He took so much time to listen to my concerns and explain all of my test results clearly, in an unhurried manner. Both doctors offered me lifestyle and nutritional solutions for my orthostatic hypotension before offering medications. I really appreciated this as I am already on so many medications for cancer treatment. Dr. Ghosh continues to monitor, order regular testing and stay directly involved in my treatment and care. Their care team, nurses, ultrasound and echo technicians are very skilled and professional. I did have an unfortunate run-in with a young woman at the front desk, as others have mentioned in their reviews. I wrote a MyChart message to Dr. Ghosh's team and they were mortified. The head nurse, Jason, came into my room to personally apologize. He assured me that administration would resolve the matter. I felt relieved and cared for. I implore you to brave the front desk staff because the professionals working in the treatment rooms are exceptional clinicians. Any issue presented in a kind and patient manner will be promptly resolved.

I was going to Dr. Holve and really liked him but my insurance doesn't cover Cottage Hospital so I had to get a different cardiologist. I've been trying to transfer my records for 3 months and keep getting the run around. I can't go to Dr. Holve any more so I'm not sure why they won't transfer my records. They just keep telling me they will. It's not like I wanted to transfer. I can't see another cardiologist until they transfer my records and then the new doctor has to go over them and then set an appt for months away.

I guess this is the end of customer service, I just called (9/7/22) @ 2pm and had the worst service of my life. The appointment scheduler is completely burnt out, was rude and completely unacceptable. Ne need to make a complaint since nothing will get done, but it's really unfortunate to have individuals not care for those who are sick.
