I had my first appointment with Dr. Gogia today. He was very knowledgeable and explained my next steps for care very well. The nurses were really nice as well. I did have to wait a while to be seen but I know delays happen sometimes.

I was referred to this cardiologist for a sudden change in my health. I have serious complications with my blood pressure, panic attacks, cardiac cough, & other more personal things, sudden weight gain 40 lbs in 1 year I saw him for 3 years.. through my insurance & he never wanted to explain anything to me.. just kept saying you're fine, I'll see you in a year. Took a few ultrasounds and that's it. Never answered any of my questions.. he would just say sorry I'm not a dietitian, I'm not a this or I'm not a that...and I would get to the point where I would ask.. but could that have to do with the heart" was my question " and he would refer me to my doctor at that point in the conversation. It was the worst experience ever.. luckily my health got better & he just told me, your heart is good now and you can't ask me something about last year.??? But he was my cardiologist for 3 years ..then who would know.. this was a very confusing experience and I'm starting to wonder why I was even referred to him. Anybody could have done what he did. I believe he has poor communication and he only knows what's going in his head & he will not share that with the patient atleast. I always got the feeling that he did not like questions and when he discharged me.. I realized that he really didnt because he almost hung up on me for asking him questions on my history .. like did he even see me get better or was I always the same with no problems at all & he said that doesn't matter because what matters is today.
Oh boy, where do I even start with this clinic? I came in with genuine concerns about my ectopics, hoping for a second opinion that was more insightful than "it's just anxiety." Initially, I had a sliver of hope; the medical assistant seemed nice and knew what they were talking about. But let me tell you, it went downhill, and fast. First off, the front office folks could seriously use a lesson in how to smile, or, you know, just generally be friendly to patients. I brushed that off though, telling myself I was here to see a specialist, not make friends with the reception staff. But then the real circus began. I had not one, but TWO appointments rescheduled, the second one being canceled without any heads-up, which I only found out when I showed up at the clinic, having taken a day off work. Frustrating doesn't even begin to cover it. I wish I could say the scheduling snafu was the worst of it, but then came the heart monitor debacle. Picture this: they handed me a device that looked like it belonged in the last century, complete with a mess of wires to lug around for three days. And as if to add a cherry on top of this mess, they had ordered a telemetry procedure instead of an event monitoring, something not covered by my insurance, and frankly, not what was needed. I was at my wit's end. Deciding I had had more than enough, I canceled all my future appointments. You'd think getting the test results would be straightforward, right? Wrong. They first offered to send it by fax - I mean, who even has a fax machine these days? - or via the good old USPS. After a battle of wills, they finally agreed to email it, which felt like pulling teeth. I never got to see the cardiologist, so no comments there. But honestly, the unending series of missteps and the ancient tech just sucked all the trust out of me. I walked out with zero confidence in their process, feeling more frustrated than ever. To anyone considering this place, I'd say run in the opposite direction unless you have a penchant for outdated tech and a rollercoaster of scheduling mishaps. It's a hard pass from me, and I sincerely hope others don't have to go through what I did.
Very rude unprofessional staff, long waiting time, dirty office.
I was showing him my that it was so swollen and he at note me.
