Patient
I began seeing Dr. Lee about two years ago after my previous primary care doctor retired. I had always been healthy with clean lab results, but as I approached retirement age, small issues began to come up. What I appreciate most about Dr. Lee is that she truly listens and takes my concerns seriously. Both of my parents had heart disease, and after the sedentary Covid years--working long hours from home and barely leaving my desk--I was out of shape. When I reported shortness of breath and occasional dizziness, Dr. Lee promptly referred me to a cardiologist to be safe. I also remember walking out of an ultrasound appointment for another issue when she called me immediately. She explained the results, their significance, and the next steps so I wouldn't spend the weekend worrying. More recently, a routine blood test showed an unusually high reading. She ordered a thoughtful series of follow-up tests that helped pinpoint the risk, which I'm now addressing with a specialist. Just last week, I experienced symptoms that seemed related to high blood pressure. After messaging her team, she saw me the very next day. She reviewed my past and current readings and concluded the episode was likely stress-related. We agreed not to adjust my medicine yet but to continue monitoring closely. I am very pleased with Dr. Lee's thoroughness, patience, clear explanations, and sound judgment. Most importantly, she genuinely cares about my health and well-being.
