Dr. Anjali Gulati, MD

Dr. Gulati treats my wife's conditions, which are complex. I'm not one to use hyperbole, but Dr. Gulati may actually be the best doctor we have ever met! She is caring, smart, high energy--and a real problem solver. I'm so thankful that we've found her!

My only complaint is she always runs late. After discovering that I had 200/100 BP while in the ER, I was referred to Dr. Gulati by my Internist. Dr.Gulati was extremely thorough and ran many tests to find out the cause of my high BP. I have been to her office regularly since my first appointment and find her to be friendly, kind, knowledgeable and helpful.

Hands down the worst doctor I've ever met. She is extremely rude, laughed at me when I was explaining my symptoms several times, and left my room to see another patient for an hour. I was in the office for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Why didn't I leave? This was a follow up appointment from when I was in the ER. If I would have checked her reviews first, there's no way in hell I would've booked the follow up appointment with her. She was very sarcastic and kept interrupting me when I would explain my symptoms and then got upset because I wasn't telling her everything at once. She kept checking her phone and sending text messages while I was speaking and kept having me repeat myself because she wasn't paying attention. Aside from the obvious lack of bedside manners, she told me there was nothing wrong with me and weeks later I ended up back at the ER with fluid surrounding my heart.

This review is long overdue. I was hospitalized in 2015 for a-fib and hypertensive emergency, and after an angiogram and CT scan this Doctor said that I needed bypass surgery. Luckily she was overruled by the chief surgeon at the hospital. Since then, I've been under the care of a different cardiologist, and last month I had a angioplasty with one stent placed. That's a far stretch from bypass surgery. Again, that was EIGHT years after she said I required a bypass. She was just looking for a payday at my expense. I's disgusting that you put your trust in a so-called professional, and they take advantage. Also... if she did actually believe in her heart of hearts (no pun) that I needed that bypass, then she should have her licensed revoked for gross incompetence.

Dr Gulati is amazing and is an excellent cardiologist. She just might have saved my life today finding a blood clot during a routine ECHO for my cancer treatment! She always will make time and see you even if she's booked! She has integrity and is excellent at figuring out what is wrong if anything!!
