Dr. Brewster was my father's, Bruce Russell, MD about 50yrs ago at Mary's Help in Daly City. I was just thinking about how nice and kind this man was and how much my father loved him, both as a doctor and personally. I recall after my father had his heart attack he was in the CCU and wanted to smoke. The nurse freaked out but Dr. Brewster said what the hell let him have a smoke ! Got to love that. No wok bs back then. What a cool guy. Imagine doing that now? Father is now long gone, but just wanted to say thanks to Dr. Brewster.
