5 Stars for Service and System but CAUTION and ALERT regarding ACCESSIBILITY in the Parking Structure, and caution, too, on Pedestrian Safety. Always, it's tricky for both pedestrians in front of Medical Center and cars pulling into and out of the parking structure. There are many pedestrians, some walking slowly or with mobility aids. It's tricky to move past them safely. Also, the entry/exit of the parking structure is a sudden grade, so visibility is difficult. If you are taking the bus, you may need to cross Geary. Please be careful and cautious, cross when there is enough time, etc. CURRENTLY, the elevators inside the parking structure (NOT the medical center) are being repaired. This repair work will last all of 2024. There is ONE working elevator. There are MANY people - many with wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, etc. waiting for this ONE elevator. There are golf carts - maybe two? - to pick up people waiting for the elevator and take them "to the top" where they still must walk up a grade to get to street level. If you are bringing someone who uses a mobility aid, you might want to drop them off at Geary and then park your car. If you yourself have a disability that needs mobility aids or you have a baby, stroller, kids, etc. of course, you can't do this. ALLOW TIME to deal with all this. All of it - waiting for elevator or golf cart, etc. - will take time. The signage for "Golf Car Waiting Area" is only in English. They need to add more languages.

The cardiologists and nurses are excellent but discharge pharmacists was not through with the medication. Can't contact anyone since everything is closed and no one to contact! Having a heart surgery is difficult enough but not given all the necessary medications along with required over the counter medications aren't provided. . Trying to contact personal regarding the prescribed medication extremely difficult after hours. Discharge took forever! . Extremely difficult and frustrating!!!!
