Dr. Sung Choi, MD

Dr Choi did heart surgery on my husband- and was wonderful to work with! Very calming personality- which was very needed.

I recently had complex lead extraction and replacement at UCSF and while I was seen post op by many MD's and Cardiologists I see now in My chart that DR CHOI was the one ordering all the tests and making decisions. He is a very wise and personable Doctor who made the decision regarding when I was ready to go home, I'm home now and doing very well. Anybody who is fortunate enough to have Dr, Choi in charge of their case is in the best hands available, I can't thank him enough for what he did for me.

My father has been under the care of Dr. Choi following his heart attack several months ago. Dr. Choi was the attending cardiologist at CPMC, who performed the angioplasty. We really liked Dr. Choi from the moment we met him at the hospital: he is a truly genuine doctor and a human being, who cares about his patients, has a great bedside manner and is very easy to talk to. We continue to see Dr. Choi for regular follow-up appointments, where we get plenty of opportunities to ask any and all questions, and under Dr. Choi's care my father is doing great. I'd also like to acknowledge the friendly staff at Dr. Choi's office: every call/question/conversation/appointment is handled with great care and sensitivity. We highly recommend Dr. Choi and his office to anyone looking for a carrying and attentive cardiologist.

Dr Choi is amazing. I was having my knee replaced and my PCP saw something on my EKG needed for surgery clearance that they wanted a cardiologist to look into. I got referred to Dr. Choi. He did another EKG and cleared me for surgery but also took the opportunity to explain to me in detail what it was that my PCP saw and gave me a nice run down on the general condition of my heart and explained ways to lower my risk for heart disease. He was great and has a very friendly soft spoken demeanor. Five stars for Dr Choi. Hopefully I won't need to see a cardiologist again anytime soon but if I do it's going to be Dr. Choi. He's the best

Dr. Choi is a finest doctor. He meticulously cared for me with his par excellent medical expertise. At the same time he was most kind and patient. Cannot underestimate the power of compassion in the midst of emergency and stress. Between Dr. Choi and the wonderful nursing staff, I had no complaints.
