Christopher Woods, M.D. Ph.D. FHRS

Dr. Woods did my ablation in June and did it perfectly and I just had my 6 month check up and my heart is doing great. He's pleasant to speak to, he's kind and made me feel at ease.

Dr. Woods is a highly knowledgable physician who can cut through standard operating procedures to get to the heart of the problem. I credit him with helping me avoid a heart attack by quickly and decisively recommending an angioplasty, which saved the day and improved my well being.

On 1/15/25 I drove my dad to 1100 Van Ness Ave (SF) from Los Gatos, to see Dr. Christopher Woods for a Cardiac Ablation operation. My dad's cardiologist, Dr. Matthew Levy, suggested Dr. Woods for this operation and I'm so glad he did. My dad is 81 years old and was experiencing issues with his heart--his pacemaker/defibrillator was showing unusual readings and his cardiologist was concerned. And I was concerned when I would see my dad have an episode and let out a grunt. Immediately following my dad's operation, he felt great. And he has always had white-coat syndrome; he gets nervous in hospitals, around doctors, etc. My dad spent the night at the hospital and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating to my dad. They were kind to me when I visited (before and after the operation), and they provided my dad his own hospital room to rest and recover, and with a view! As of today (6/1/25), my 81 years old dad is back in the gym and living life. Thank you, Dr. Woods, and staff!

I met Dr. Woods for the first time at this appointment. I was there to discuss possible treatments for diagnosed Afib. I was pleasantly surprised - and relieved - that he really seemed to be paying attention to me as a person by actively listening. He was not typing things into a computer and glancing at his watch as we talked like is usually what I've experienced with other doctors. Dr. Woods also spent a lot of time educating me about treatment options and was sure to answer all of my questions. Ultimately I left the appointment feeling more relieved that my condition has hope for treatment and my heart is in capable and caring hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Woods for two years and have gone through two procedures with him. Each step of the way has been clearly communicated and explained. I highly recommend him as one of the best in his field.
