Brett C. Sheridan, M.D. FACS

Dr. Sheridan is an extremely skilled heart surgeon who replaced my Mitral valve (at my age of 90). He is a most unpretentious human being who has spent unusual amounts of time with me before and after the surgery to discuss any and all concerns. His extremely calm demeanor has been most reassuring. Totally recommend him for cardiac surgery.

I met with Dr Sheridan to discuss a heart procedure that I will be having in November. Dr Sheridan was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. We discussed the details of my upcoming procedure and he was very patient answering all of my questions and concerns. I left the consultation feeling positive and encouraged. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you, Dr Sheridan.

Dr. Sheridan knows what he is doing. Upon meeting him, I felt confident he can do anything he intends to do. He doesn't talk much, but what he says makes sense. I recommend Dr. Sheridan to anyone considering his services. I feel like a new man after my heart surgery! His team works with him very closely and that is a good thing. I am grateful for everything Dr. Sheridan and his team did to help me.

Although as a new patient visit it was brief, Dr Sheridan was poised and intently focused on my person. We'll see how he does in my aerobic valve replacement.

Dr. Sheridan took all the fear out of having open heart surgery. When I first went to his office, my fear of this procedure was causing very high anxiety. Dr. Sheridan and his staff took the time to explain to me what each step would be prior to my surgery and what I could expect when I came out of the operating room. My biggest fear was the pain that I would experience in recovery. Dr. Sheridan explained to me how he would put my chest back together with wires and then asked me if I had ever broken a bone, I told him yes and he told me it would be less pain that that. He was absolutely right! The time that he and the staff spent with me put me at ease and helped me make the final decision to have the procedure. If it wasn't for Dr. Sheridan, I would have put this procedure off, maybe even to the point where I could have had a severe heart attack or worse. Thank you Dr. Sheridan, I will always be grateful to you for not only your open and honest communications, but the excellent job you did on my CABG procedure. There will always be a special place in my heart for you!! There truly are angels on this earth watching over us, and yes sir, I believe you are one of them.
