I have always had a good experience with this vet which I have been going to for almost four years now for my senior chihuahua mix. I feel like Dr. Karen has always been a professional and honest about treatments that are not necessary vs. ones that are critical and I have never felt like I have been misled or taken advantage of. Vet care is just expensive sometimes; if you are not prepared for that, maybe don't get a pet, get a second opinion before signing up for a procedure you deem too expensive, or know that they offer reduced fee services at the Humane Society. Dr. Karen is great in my opinion.

I've given this veterinary practice multiple chances, but my experiences have consistently left me feeling that they prioritize profit over genuine patient care. A serious mistake was made on a controlled-substance prescription, and instead of taking responsibility or communicating with the pharmacy to resolve the issue, the vet refused to get involved. This created unnecessary stress and hours of back-and-forth that could have been easily prevented.
I was also pressured into considering a risky surgery because the vet claimed she couldn't aspirate a lump. A second opinion proved otherwise; another vet was able to aspirate it immediately, and it turned out not to be a major issue at all. On top of that, I was encouraged to run the same expensive blood tests twice for no clear reason. The overall approach feels alarmist, as if the goal is to push costly procedures rather than provide thoughtful, measured care.
The constant staff turnover every few months only adds to the lack of trust and continuity. Based on my experiences, I do not feel confident in this vet's judgment or recommendations, and I would not trust them with my pet's care going forward.

I consistently choose this establishment for my canine companion's grooming needs due to the exceptional level of care and attention he receives from the staff. Their professionalism and patience are truly remarkable, especially considering the fast-paced nature of most grooming facilities.

Just plain evil
With our pitty, the vet insisted in bilateral acl surgery on both knees. There was nothing wrong with his knees, but we trusted her and it is clear that dr kurowoski scammed us.
Then when our sweet Australian cattle dog developed throat cancer, she refused to even look in her mouth to diagnose, citing fear of being bit? What kind of vet says that? Instead she said not to worry about it and upsold me on $400 of vaccines,, Milly did not need the vaccines because she died of her cancer 6 months later.
When Milly was suffering from the pain, they refused to refill her carprofen without another $100 blood test. Absolutely evil. Steer clear. They will upsell you every step of the way

My dog, Oliver Wobbles, is extremely fearful of strangers and is quite difficult to work with! Dr. K was simply a saint with him. She bent over backwards to ensure he got the care he needed, never shied away from the challenge, and was always kind, attentive, compassionate, and knowledgable.
I feel very lucky to have had her as a vet for the last 7 years :)
