Center Veterinary Clinic and Urgent Care

I recently brought my newly adopted cat, Penny, to Center Veterinary Clinic for her first visit. She had some fleas and needed routine lab work to establish a baseline. From the moment we arrived, I was so impressed! The facility is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They brought Penny and me into a private room right away, which really helped lower her stress. Dr. Boitnott was wonderful--friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the entire visit. The vet techs, especially Sayaka, were amazing with Penny. They handled her so gently and made me feel completely comfortable with the care she was receiving. You can tell everyone there truly loves animals. I'm so happy to have found such a great clinic and feel confident establishing them as Penny's regular vet. I highly recommend Center Veterinary Clinic to anyone in the Mira Mesa area looking for a clean, compassionate, and professional veterinary team!

This is the best vet clinic we have ever been too! The vet techs, front desk and dr were all exceptional. We took our dog in at 6 pm to get checked for her swollen eye and allergies and the care team blew our minds with their treatment of our sweet dog! Our dog is reactive and they catered to that wonderfully for what could have been a bad experience. We walked out of there with a treatment plan, a very happy dog, and great care from the team at Center Vet! Thank you all again for taking care of our sweet old senior!

I had taken my Exotic Bully, Brutus, in for an intestinal blockage. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and prompt. They were thorough in explaining the treatment plan, remedy, and financing options due to it not going to be an inexpensive procedure. It was late in the afternoon and he needed an emergency extraction. I was provided locations that could provide the emergency services needed. Not to downplay any of their staff, they are exceptional, but one staff member, Isabel, was above and beyond. Once I had decided where I would be heading, she called ahead to let them know I was on my way and had gotten a rough estimate of what to expect financially. Due to her efficiency, I walked in the door to the emergency facility with them being full aware of the situation, results, and any other pertinent information. A smooth effortless hand off.

After some not so great vet visits, we finally found an amazing one! Our dog Chico was having some swelling and redness on his front paw. We got an appointment the same day and got him looked at. The doctor and everyone we talked to was so informative. They helped us understand what they were doing, what our options were, and they were patient with our dog as he gets anxious in those types of situations. After some not so great experiences, we were so relieved and happy by the way they cared for him. We are very happy with our experience at this clinic and we will be returning for the future!

We have been taking our pets to Center Vet in Mira Mesa since the late 1990s. We have ALWAYS had positive experiences and received fair service, even when the visits have been challenging, as they sometimes can be with pets. We believe Center Vet caring and treatment is second to none and we believe we get excellent value with every visit. The Petly wellness program is outstanding as it covers most routine exams and vaxes! Well worth it! We love our dog so much and we are very confident with trusting his well-being with Center Vet!
