Very poor customer service. Tried to call to make an appointment for my dad but could not hear them clearly on the phone. And when i asked the person i talked to please hold so that i could go to grab the insurance card, he hung up on me.

I do not recommend this cardiologist office to no one very very bad customer service they do not help you at all rude and they don't even help you with the referral process
Wish I could give 0 stars. Do NOT go here for any medical help. The staff is incredibly incompetent. Long wait times and processing time just so Dr. Patankar can tell you to call your insurance and get you out of there as fast as he can. He doesn't care for what you are trying to communicate. The office does not respond to messages either. My mother needs to do a bypass surgery and we dropped a message about a related issue in her leg with clotting and the office got the message but never told the doctor it was over 2 weeks. We told the doctor on 8/26 today about the message he brushed it off said I wouldn't know "call the insurance". I tried to call this office to file a formal complaint they transferred me to their supervisor and the supervisor wanted to collect the information but not of the negligence of care, but that of another appointment from a different doctor regarding surgery. I raised my voice because at this point I'm frustrated with their conduct and said what does that have to do with today's appointment and she could not deal with it and started complaining saying I am being rude. Yes, this is my mother who needs bypass surgery and she is dissatisfied with the quality of care. Regardless, filed a grievance with the health plan, and for people who dont know you can also report the doctor to cms and the California Medical Licensing Board regarding quality of care and negligence which I have already done so.
It took 45 minutes to book an an appointment for a phone consultation. Got a call confirming consultation appointment 2 days before. One hour after appointment time, no call from Dr. Pantankar so I call the office to confirm. After being on hold for 15 minutes, they told me he was running behind and would call shortly. Another hour goes by and still no call from Dr. Pantankar so I call the office to confirm. After being on hold for an another 25 minutes, they said his staff could not be reached. Finally, after over 3 hours from original appointment time, Dr. Pantankar called and told me he was confused about his schedule was apologetic. I told him I was not interested and have a nice day. I don't know why anyone would trust their health to someone that manages an office with such poor organizational skills.
This is a fantastic doctor. When you depend on your doctor to save your life, you would want to see this man!!! He is very professional and gets the job done. He has given me the opportunity to live a longer life so I may watch my grandchildren grow. I now have the precious time to get right with my GOD!!!!! THANK YOU AND BLESS YOU DR. PANTAKAR
