I was referred to Dr. Altujuman for an ICD implant and was blown away by the level of care and expertise. From the compassionate and attentive staff to Dr. Altujuman himself, the entire team was incredible. He performed the surgery, and I feel like a new person. A special shout-out also goes to Dr. Manila Zamen. I'm so grateful for the outstanding care I received.

Following a carotid ultrasound my husband was admitted to Temecula Valley Hospital by Dr. Michael Vargas' PA, Nancy, for a 90+% blockage of his right carotid artery.
Before that procedure (carotid revascularization) could proceed Dr. Alturjuman insisted on a lexiscan, which saved my husband's life. They identified an area of concern and Dr. Alturjuman took Jeff to the cath lab. I got a phone call from the nurse after about 25 minutes to come back downstairs, saying "that the doctor wanted to speak to me." It turned out that Jeff's LAD (the infamous "widow maker") was 100% blocked and the other major vessels in his heart were 80-90% blocked and he recommended a CABG (bypass) surgery because he would have had to place EIGHT stents, which isn't a long-term solution. Miraculously, Jeff's heart muscle was not damaged by any prior "events", he just has really rusty "plumbing".
Jeff then underwent a combined CABG/endarterectomy and is home and successfully recovering.
I consider this whole arc to be a miracle, one thing after another. Dr. Alturjuman played a major part in this and I will be eternally grateful.

I don't even know where to start to express my appreciation for Dr. Alturjuman!
He's been treating my husband for over 10 years now! He is so professional, caring, knowledgeable & one of the best cardiologist out there! Yesterday my husband went to the ER suffering from chest pain, he was kept in the hallway of the ER for over 24 hours! I reached out to Dr. Alturjuman by txt & was not expecting a response as quickly as he did within minutes! He immediately contacted the hospital & arranged for my husband to be transferred to a room then he went to the hospital in the evening & preformed an angiogram on him & ended up putting 3 stints in his heart! He probably saved his life again! This the kind of Doctor we can hardly find these days! Someone who can be there when you really need them! He kept in touch with me by txt all day & called right after the surgery to give me updates on my husband's condition! I can't thank you enough Doctor! J highly recommend him!!!!
