Dr. Nguyen was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. He gave us options for the treatment plan and gave us reasonable time to make an informed decision. Once we made a decision, he wasted no time which is better than we experienced at other dermatologist offices! Would definitely recommend!

I needed a Primary Care Physician and chose this doctor. The office visit was mostly good. When it came to my medicine, they couldn't find CENTERWELL, which is a mail order pharmacy through Humana in their system. Three times someone said CAREWELL. Three times I repeated no, CENTERWELL. I even showed them the name in big letters because I had brought in the paperwork showing my meds from the CENTERWELL website. I also told them to look on the prescription bottles I had brought in, and they could probably find the information there. Yes, name, address and phone number was on the bottles. I get a call the next day from CAREWELL Pharmacy in National City CA. The prescriptions had been sent there; would I like them filled. No, I use CENTERWELL pharmacy. I called the office and told them the prescriptions had been sent to the wrong place. The address and phone number was read back to me. Yes, they had the correct information. So how did it end up at the wrong pharmacy? A couple of days later I checked my CENTERWELL pharmacy online. Oh good, the prescriptions were sent there. Today I get 3 of the 4 meds prescribed. One more comes tomorrow. I was wondering why one of my meds had no refills. The bottle I gave them said, TAKE 1 TABLET ONE TIME DAILY FOR THREE DAYS AS NEEDED. The new prescription says, TAKE 1 TABLET THREE TIMES DAILY AS NEEDED. Basically, that amount is two years worth of meds in one prescription instead of 90 days at a time. It's the exact same pill as the previous prescription. While the office visit was a pretty good experience, once they sent the meds to the wrong pharmacy, I went to the Humana website and selected another doctor. The screw up with the incorrect dosage on one of the meds was enough to confirm I made the right choice.

Dr Derek Nguyen had no clue what meds my mom was on. When confronted with this matter, he dropped her as a client by certified mail. Big Pharma advocate
