I have been going to Dr. Gonzalez for more than a year now. She is very caring and understanding. My only comment would be that I wish her office was more up to date with using technology. I would like to be able to e-mail her with non urgent questions or to order a prescription without having to speak with the receptionist. It would be nice to be able for them to get my test results online rather than having the lab fax them.
I had a pretty awful experience. After making me hold for about 7+ mins, the person at the reception hung up while I was mid-sentence simply stating what I was looking for. They just said they "aren't accepting new patients" and hung up without even verifying if that's what I wanted (I barely said five words about finding their contact information on the Anthem website). I understand they're likely very busy but one should still expect bare minimum courtesy from the staff.
I am delighted to have Dr. Gonzales as my new Primary Care Physician. I was referred to her when I was discharged for the Sequoia (great hospital) almost a year ago. She has been overseeing my recovery and well-being ever since. I respect her expertise, but more than that, I appreciate how she listens and talks to me; I know I have her undivided attention. Another attribute is how she explains treatment she suggests and makes me feel like I am participating. I am 86 years old and have been in and out of a lot of doctor's offices. Dr. Gonzales is awesome! I was referred to her after a hospital stay & I appreciate every aspect of her practice. Her staff is always on point & stays on top of everything. I have always had issues with trusting drs in general because of past experiences but Dr. Gonzales is definitely one I trust whole heartedly.
