Optum - Redlands Fern Cajon Primary Care & Specialty Care

I had Dr Park as my OB. I was told he was straight forward and I appreciated that during my pregnancy. I was at his office when I started showing signs of Preeclampsia. I had a very high risk pregnancy that required me to be hospitalized at 26 weeks. Dr. Park and his colleagues at Optum were amazing throughout my experience. They gave me real tough news, but I always felt safe. They delivered information to me with such confidence and clarity that I often struggled to ask more questions as I thought their presentation was thorough. His office staff were incredible and went above and beyond when it came to my care. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

They don't pick up the phone and they don't call back even if you leave a voicemail. Appointments get canceled and I don't know how you're supposed to reschedule since they don't pick up. They have 1 ultrasound machine they share so you wait forever. The receptionist is incompetent and mixes up people's information and breaks HIPAA and then finds excuses. They come in late, I once waited 50 minutes to see the doctor for a 10 minutes. They lie in the post appointment notes that they discussed all these things with you that they never brought up and my favorite part, my chart clearly says I do not want to know the gender until birth and I even said it on the phone. I was handed my genetics testing results and the gender was right there. Ruined my hope for a birth surprise! The lab is no better, I got yelled at, bruised, left with a hematoma and just overall bad experience. Definitely not recommending this place.

Left two messages with the OBGYN department and never received a call back. Called again and spoke with someone about scheduling an appointment, since I ended up in Urgent Care, for follow up regarding my visit but they said "Oh your doctor already handed in their resignation. Yeah, I think they already did." What? No explanation just moved on and tried to give me an appointment over a month in the future. They put me through to the OBGYN department because they were giving me information that was incorrect. I got that department's voicemail again! Guess what the outcome will be? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Beaver aka Optum is losing patients and doctors faster than they can remodel for their "front" of a business.

ATTENTION ALL LADIES. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY PREGNANCY RELATED REASONS. Me and my wife had come here on Tuesday 07/07/25 mostly to see the ultrasound for the second trimester of my child but also to see what my wife needed if anything. There first ultrasound machine was broken or just not working. There rooms apparently didn't have electricity. They brought a second ultrasound machine and what we saw devastated me and my wife we both started crying and honestly couldn't believe what we saw and what they we're explaining to us. They had incorrectly used the machine and were looking in the wrong spot because they pointed out a small dot on the screen and said that was our child. They told us there was no heartbeat and it looked as if it had stopped growing. My wife instantly started crying, I was lost for words. Anyways we went to the ER in Moreno Valley the next day and found out that our baby was not only alive but thriving and we are so lucky that the people at that ER we're professionals considering that Optum recommended that we tried methods of flushing out the corpse of my child that was still alive. Honestly I hope I get the chance to sue these people they put me and my wife through hell if only for a short time.

My father is a patient there and every other month is assigned a new doctor because the last one left before he could even see them. He cannot get medications refilled because he has not "established care with this doctor", but how can you establish care when you cannot get in. He had been in numerous times to see different providers including a cardiologist, NP and a PA, as well as having labs they still cannot refill his medications and claim he has not been there or had labs in over a year. It is like their doctors are incapable of reading the records on file. I would not recommend them to anyone.
