I had such a great experience at Shasta Regional- Surgery dept. The whole staff are kind and compassionate. You can tell there are truly good people out of there job setting..( My Dr. Laura Strickland is Awesome!) This hospital is well organized, and they work in sync perfectly..I also have been to Shasta ER Dept. and the staff over there , like to get things done..No waiting forever in that ER. The staff are also friendly and soo helpful!! I am super impressed after being treated a few times there!

I had my oil changed for the second time and everything went great! Again! They were all very nice and explained everything that needed to be done to my car. They actually took me out and showed me what was wrong, along with taking pictures. I also had a coupon but they said it was for another location and gave me a better deal than what was on the coupon! They are exceptional.

Gladly I found it to be a very positive experience. Short waiting time and great staff that made me feel like I mattered. Lately I have been there a total of 13 days in the last couple of months. Had 2 very serious surgeries that were successful and I'm now in rehab which I also found to be so much better than River Valley health care I was sent to after my first surgery. They say it's hit and miss when it comes to your doctor but I feel Dr Bursett is one hell of a doctor. I couldn't be more satisfied in the care and precision he took with me. After smoking for 56 years I stopped 1 1/2 years ago and he didn't give me sermons about it and I had only stopped for 3 days when I first started seeing him. I'm so glad I was referred to him for this surgery. I want to believe all doctors are at the top of their field but through the year's I have seen different. I have recommended Dr Bursett to everyone I know whether they need him or not. After surgery I had 46 staples in my leg and it felt a lot better than it did before the surgery. That's unreal to think about but I attribute that to Dr Bursett. I have the same surgery to be done on my other leg and know with him doing it I will be just as pleased. I can't even think of anything that wasn't a positive experience. Thank you all for helping me through this.

UPDATE: My mom went to Mercy this morning after leaving here at like 6pm last night and the doctor says she has pneumonia and is confused on how Shasta Regional did a chest x ray and missed this. If I had the time I would write out how they killed my dad but we won't get into that. My mom who has cancer and an autoimmune disorder came in very ill and with abdominal pain. Told her she had a fluid in her lungs and liver gave her a shot of tortol and discharged her. I asked them to please test her for the flu and Covid so we can get her started on meds right away if needed so they tested her and said they would call with the results. So I called today and asked for them and they said I have to wait until Monday to get her results from medical records that they don't call with test results. Needless to say she is way sicker now and up at mercy where they are retesting her because Shasta Regional told us they would call with the results so they can free up they room faster because they need the bed in the ER. I don't know why she even chose to go there the medical care is below average and everyone I spoke to is incredibly rude telling me I don't understand when I heard the nurse clearly and clarified she would call either way.

The experience started when I walked into the ER and told them I have been having chest pains all night. They rushed me back immediately dtew blood and did an EKG. They told me I was having a heart attack. I was then moved to the 3rd floor whole They tried scheduling me for testing and surgery. All the nurses and Dr's. That worked on me were great. I had a quadruple bypass on the 29th. And was put into ICU for 2 days. I had the pleasure of having more awesome nurses attending to me. After ICU I spent 2 additional n8ghts back on the 3rd. Floor making sure Ai was healing correctly. After 7 days I was on my way home. I give everyone I had contact with at at Shasta Regional an A+. Very good experience at a very bad time. Thanks Again
