This office lady is horrible. I called because my brother at the age of 47 just passed unexpectedly from an aorta leakage Valve and they said it was genetic so I just wanted to get a check up on my heart. I told her I had a PPO and she told me I needed a referral. She never said I'm sorry for your loss just kept over talking me and being very rude. then when I said we don't usually need referrals for PPO she put me on hold for a long time. when she came back I explained to her what happen to my brother and I have a PPO she rudely over talked me, didn't say sorry for your loss told me you need a primary doctor with all your medical records. I tried to explain to her that I was a veteran and I was affiliated with the VA and I don't have medical records because I don't usually go to the doctor but my brother just died of a heart attack and I just wanted to get a test and she over talked me and then hung up on me. I was going to ask her if I made an appointment with the VA doctor if that referral would help me just get my heart checked out but she hung up on me rudely. I now understand why my brother might not have wanted to go see doctors to see why he wasn't feeling good. I have never witnessed such rudeness especially in this time of loss. I would wonder how the doctor treats people when the secretary treat people like this. It is hard enough to make a phone call like this when I just went to a funeral for my brother at the age of 47 who died of a heart attack. But this office was so disgustingly rude that I understood then when my brother didn't like doctors. And I think it's a result of Redding not having enough cardiologists that they are able to treat people even when their brother just passed from hereditary heart disease, when I was trying to find a solution saying I'm a veteran can i go to VA with a referral to you because she hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. I guess this is why Redding has the worst statistics of health in the nation. It's probably why my brother died of a heart attack when Redding was giving him brain scans instead of checking his heart. It's probably because of office people like this that my brother didn't keep on going to doctors. But when A little sister calls and says I need a check up because my brother died of something that is hereditary and this lady treated me like this that gives me a bad taste in my mouth for this office. There was not even a I'm sorry for your loss on and oh you're a veteran let's figure it out. All I got was a lady hanging up on me because there's a lack of cardiologist in this area so she gets away with treating people like that. No wonder everybody goes to Dr. Kahn instead. I would give no stars but it made me put one star in. The treatment by this lady at this office is unbelievable I'm pretty much in shock
