I've taken loves ones to this facility for outpatient procedures a few times and I have to say, each time it went as smooth as possible. All of the staff were caring and helpful, exactly what you'd want for those you love. Thank you to all the team there.
And on top that, its a beautiful campus. Plenty of areas to walk around or sit and pass the time while you wait.

I have never been to a medical facility that is as beautiful as Catalina. They have gardens that are well maintained and a cafeteria where you can get a cool drink after your workout with your physical therapist. The garden is absolutely stunning. It a very relaxing place to do outdoor physical therapy on days when it is nice out. And the staff is working there are truly happy in that positive environment.

My surgery was schedule here because Kaiser Permanente has contracted them. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The staff were all amazing but I have to shoutout Kelly who was my nurse during intake and was phenomenal! But everyone who cared for me was warm, kind and patient. The anesthesiologist, whom I am not sure if he was a Kaiser doctor (my surgeon was) but he was also amazing and had such great bedside manners. Very happy with my experience.

On May 16 2025, I was admitted to Loma Linda hospital ,I had lost my sight to my left eye and my left foot was amputated due to a bacterial infection. I received daily treatment included shots to my eye. A temporary eye contact would be placed in my eye and removed . Foot After almost two weeks I was transported to Casa Colina, Pomona, California, for rehabilitation to prepare for a prosthesis. The temporary contact lens in my left eye remained it was not removed .
Upon arriving at Casa Colina, the antibiotic dosage to my eye was reduced, but I remained in severe pain from both my eye . and the amputation from the surgery a few days earlier. I also had severe back pain.
During this period, my left eye received no medical attention despite my growing pain and discomfort. I expressed my concerns to the Casa Colina medical staff, but only part medicine was provided.,Dr. Huang and the registered nurses informed me that the eye retina specialist, Dr. Kwon_,was on vacation. Consequently, my eye remained untreated or checked for several weeks, and the pain worsened daily, hindering my participation in rehabilitation activities.
Despite my daily complaints and the unbearable pain that sometimes reached unbearable levels, no medical staff attended to my left eye. On one such night, I cried out for help, and an attending physician and several nurses finally came to my room to examine and treat my eye. Nut eye was bleeding They provided morphine and dilaudid to manage the pain, but it took several weeks for an eye specialist to finally treat my eye. Dr. Kwon, the eye specialist, finally removed the contact lens that had been left in my eye for approximately a month. Unfortunately, this neglect caused more damage to my eye At Loma Mina I was told there was a chance my eye could be saved , no my sight but my eye.
In addition to the neglect of my left eye, I also experienced severe pain in both my legs and spine, which prevented me from participating regularly in physical therapy. My back pain radiated down my legs, and morphine provided little or no relief.
I requested an X-ray exam, but Dr. Huang dismissed my concerns, attributing my back pain to the length of time I had been lying in bed. When I expressed the severity of my pain, another physician, Dr, ordered an X-ray exam, not Dr. Huang. The X-ray revealed a degenerative slipped disc, and the Radiologist recommended treatment options, including a CT scan or MRI. Unfortunately, Dr. Huang dismissed my concerns, claiming that most people have slipped discs, which hindered my rehabilitation progress. I complained that the back pain was to extreme . As a result, I was eventually transferred, for not being able to complete the rehab to Rialto Rehabilitation Center, but I was unable to participate in physical therapy due to the continued severe back pain. My stomach began giving me pain as well.
On August ___, 2025, I was transported to Arrowhead Regional Center Emergency. The physicians completed a CAT scan and MRI within hours. I discovered that the spinal cord infection was the primary cause of my severe back pain. The infection also caused my stomach pain including a urinary tract infection.
Dr. Huang, was unprofessional and neglected treating my symptoms by refusing to order further tests (such as a CT scan or MRI) despite my repeated requests. This neglect exacerbated the pain, inflammation, and infection, leading to further bacterial infections throughout my body. I lost any chance of saving my eye.
