Dr Canvasser operated on me for a thoracic condition called "Empyema". He went in and didn't get all of the bacterial pus out of the pleural cavity causing me to re-enter a Las Vegas Hospital while recouperating. The surgeon here used robotic arms and was less invasive. They made sure they completed the job and put me on a month long IV PICC line treatment of powerful antibiotics. Canvasser didn't set me up with any pain Mgmt or follow up antibiotics. I feel he was not familiar with this as well as improper in the post surgery handling of my situation. Marion hospital should have had a better team of staff to help me.
