This office is the gold standard -- knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff at the front -- every time, every person. The wait time is never onerous. The nurses are efficient without rushing. And Dr. Mauer has to be one of the best doctors in the world --Literally, he has worked all over the world and you can tell he isn't just pretending to care, he really cares. He is personable and brilliant, kind and knowledgeable, thorough but listens well to what you need and want in terms of care. I recommend Dr. Mauer and this practice without hesitation. They are truly, especially in this day and age, with so much pressure on the medical industry and on the patients, a shining light.

For my post check-up after my surgery, I first confirmed with them that there will be no charges for the post follow up since the insurance/charges were already paid/approved on the actual surgery. The post check-up was just to remove stitches. A few weeks later, I get a bill from them for the fees for the post check-up, very disappointed.

Went in to see Doctor Geisler to get Clearance for my upcoming surgery tomorrow and had to have a cardiovascular scan and a stress test today. I was so blessed to be treated by Lauren Aias. She was so professional and so calming it made my visit with her so easy. The patient care that I received from her was a 10+++. I could tell that she's truly Cares about her patients and their needs. She was so calming and so loving we got it all done so quickly. Her professionalism was top-notch I never felt uncomfortable and she motivated me to get my stress test done and such A reassuring way. If you get a chance to see Lauren take it. I also talk to the director of business Tracy biggles because there were so many complications regarding my surgery tomorrow. But Tracy as well got it all done for me. California heart specialist is the only way to go.

Tried to set an appointment and they refused to tell me how much it would be. I asked for a range and they wouldn't give it to me. I asked if they could contact my insurance (like every other doctor I have ever seen) and they said they only call for lab work. I get that there can be a range and I get that billing is complicated but every other doctor I have seen has been able to tell me what a co-pay would be for my first visit before going to see them. Just to be clear this was the first appointment so I just wanted to go over something simple so no complicated procedures or tests were even on the table. And the staff was rude when i didn't just offer to go and let them charge me whatever they want. It felt like all they cared about was getting my *undetermined* co-pay and not to try to help me get better. I had a better interaction with those Blood Pressure Kiosk in CVS then the staff at this office.

So rude. I got shamed in the waiting room for not having an appointment even though I had an order and followed the same procedure as the last time I was here 2 weeks ago. Being in health care means caring, not shaming.
