It been 14 years from December 2, 2012 death of my twins and I want you to remember that if you and your staff would have listen my twin daughters would be here celebrating their birthday every year I look at the success you have. But I feel like maybe I should remind every year how if you would listen to me before and after surgery i had went into labor my babies would here and not in a box.

My babies were diagnosed at 20 weeks with TTTS. I was up in salt lake city UT when the doctor who diagnosed us, told us about Dr Chmait in California. She also gave us an option to go to Denver. We were trying to make the decision based off of who could see us the soonest since we were at a stage 3 twin to twin. Within 24 hrs of being diagnosed we had driven down to CA and had the operation. Dr Chmait was very realistic with our chances, but he has been doing this for the last 10 years on a double blind study. He was a new man the next day when he checked on the twins, they responded so well! I hope the same goes for those who are in need. But take heart, he will do his best! My babies were born at 38 weeks/2 days weighing 5.13 and 5.7 Very very grateful for this technology and Chmaits expertise.

My wife had a surgery performed by Dr. Chmait this week on our identical twin daughters for twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Before the surgery my wife and the twins were in very bad shape, the twins hearts were struggling and they were given a less than 10% chance of survival. My wife was in a great amount of discomfort and could not sleep at all. We had the surgery two days ago and today my wife is back to 100% and she feels great. Our twins are doing great and they are looking very healthy as of today. We can't thank Dr. Chmait and his great staff enough for their skill, kindness and knowledge during this tough time for us. I would recommend Dr. Chmait to any couple experiencing the same thing that we were, he and his staff are world class. *Update: As of today 9/4/14 our baby daughters are 4 days old. My wife had our identical twins at 35 weeks into the pregnancy. The girls are as healthy as can be, and will be going home with us very soon. Thanks again Dr. Chmait and team, you guys are life savers!

Dr. Chmait and his team are absolutely fantastic! I was diagnosed with Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome at 18 weeks in Hawaii and sent over to Dr. Chmaits office in California for surgery because he is truly the best! I was diagnosed with stage 2 prior to arriving to his office and by the time we got there it had progressed into stage 3. He went out of his way to call in his surgical team on a day that they normally do not perform surgeries so that I would be taken care of. He continued to keep in touch with my MFM specialist throughout my pregnancy and even convinced my Dr. in Hawaii to place a cerclage to save my boys from delivering at 20 weeks. Which held until 32.6 weeks! Both of my boys were considered "big preemies" and only held in the NICU for feeding and growing. That is all thanks to Dr. Chmait, his team and his amazing reputation and relationship with other facilities. I am 100% convinced that he saved one if not both of my boys lives. As an added bonus he was particularly fantastic with my 2 1/2 year old. He took such a stressful and frightening time in our families lives and gave us hope, reassurance and ultimately a solution which proved to be curative for our boys condition.
