Patient
My father, 82, went to the hospital for an angio after telling his regular doctor of not feeling well, or feeling weak and fatigued. This is an outpatient procedure. The results showed he required surgery, perhaps not emergent in a "busy" doctors determining factor, but very concerning for his family that sees the difference between yesterday and today. Dr. Huang had notification that his consult determined how to proceed with life-saving measures and/or releasing/admitting him from/into the hospital after undergoing the angio, and at the very least, glossing over its results. My father was released, finally, after two days of waiting for this "phantom" doctor's privileged appearance that never came. Now, we have to make an appointment to the office that is an hour drive? No! What kind of doctor leaves a patient scared, in the hospital, waiting, waiting, waiting for days without the decency to acknowledge them as a person worthy of attention, or just at all? What happened to becoming a doctor to help people? It is all about making money, working endless hours, subpar care, and for what??? My father deserves the best, and you are not it. Good luck to you in reevaluating your purpose...quality not quantity.
