California Cardiovascular Care

Had my first appointment with Dr. Chris today, and I can't praise him or his office staff highly enough!!! First of all, I must admit that I did have to wait a little while to be seen, but it was not an unreasonable amount of time and, all in all, well worth it. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, caring, and helpful!!! And Dr. Chris, himself, was, without a doubt, one of the absolute BEST doctors I have ever seen. He took all the time needed to go over my problems and discuss what is going on. He explained everything completely so that I could understand what is wrong on what the next steps will be. He didn't talk down to me, as so many other doctors have in the past. Both he and his staff reassured me that they will find answers to problems that have plagued me for many years, giving me confidence that I have finally found the right doctor, who will take my symptoms seriously and find a way to treat them!!! My husband has been seeing Dr. Chris for just over a year, and now I know why he speaks so highly of him!!! We both HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful doctor!!!

Dr. Chris and his staff have be wonderful with my family. I take both of my parents to see him and they adore him. He has helped to get both of their medical issues under control and takes all the time necessary to ensure that their care is complete. While there is sometimes a wait, it is to be expected with a physician who is as thorough as Dr. Chris is. We appreciate him and his staff for taking such great care of our family. Highly recommend this office!

Although I'm no longer a patient, I wish i could've kept Dr. Chris as my doctor but unfortunately I was forced to switch insurance.Dr. Chris was simply one of my favorite doctors ever. He genuinely cares and offers his input on your health and will answer any questions to the best of his medical knowledge. We were able to get my heart condition under control and not only that he went above and beyond.Although I saw him for issues regarding my heart, He offered me his opinion on other health issues I have had and believe it or not, he was able to correctly diagnose me for a GI problem I had once i relayed Dr. Chris's opinion to my so called specialist. A fantastic doctor who is a rarity in this day and age. I don't like posting excessive reviews normally but I really wish my current doctors could be more like Dr. Chris.

First, 5 stars primarily for Dr. Chris who does an excellent job. UPDATED REVIEW. Dr Chris seems to have gotten staffing and scheduling under control, and I was in and out last time in a very quick amount of time. Apparently, they were struggling with meeting COVID requirements, in addition to just being a very busy location. Now that that is no longer an issue, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend California Cardio. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The main problem here is what has been pointed out in other reviews: a staff that can't seem to manage schedules or help customers effectively. Once you see the doctor, he treats you well and answers your questions. The problem however is that regardless of appointment time, it may take 30 to 90 minutes before you actually get called in. And then expect another 15-20 minutes before the doctor sees you. You'll know immediately that there's an issue when you arrive when you see how full the waiting room is. Even though most patients have probably waited weeks for their appointment date, for some reason every session is overbooked. Maybe they should hire another doctor?

I've been going for more then a decade. I've always been proactive because of hereditary issues. Dr. Chris and staff are great. I feel we keep on top of my health, and watch the aging process carefully. It gives me the confidence to work out and do my cardio, even at 63. It surprises me that people don't realize that when you are dealing with a cardiologist, they have emergencies. Wouldn't you want your cardiologist taking care of you in an emergency, therefore cancelling his office patients or causing delays and rescheduled appointments. It happens. Probably not an issue with your dentist. I've always appreciated Dr. Chris's staff, nurses, and technicians. Of course, I treat them with the respect they deserve. When I have issues with the phone, probably during lunch time, I call later.
