Dr. Shiran was extremely patient knowledgeable and understanding. She listened to my concerns and provided thorough and thoughtful answers. This was my first appointment with her, but I can honestly say that upon leaving her office I felt somewhat relieved, knowing that I was in the care of an excellent physician

I recently had a first visit with Dr. Shiran. I had asked my GP for a coronary scan, a stress EKG, and a referral to a cardiologist because, as a 78 YO male, somewhat out of shape, I thought it would be a good time to check things out. Dr. Shiran carefully went over the results of the tests, showing me the imaging and describing in detail what I was seeing, and the implications. We discussed adjusting medications and she prescribed some medications for BP and Cholesterol reduction in addition to those I was already taking. Her approach was very collaborative - she sought to help me understand each item and decide for myself, based on the information she provided, whether I wanted to proceed with a particular medication. I could not have asked for a better first visit with a cardiologist.

I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Shiran. She is very thorough, very knowledgeable about the current science of cardiovascular health and most importantly, spends considerable time both listening to you and explaining clearly your issues and suggested actions. I am lucky to be under her care.

Dr. Shiran is wonderful! She is a great listener and explains complicated cardiac issues with elan. I trust her with my heart. And you should too.

Dr Shiran is extremely pleasant and seems to know her area of specialty very thoroughly. I enjoy my interactions with her and feel confident in her ability to treat my condition.
