Dr. Runge saved my life and is absolutely amazing at what she does! I had a condition called "thoracic outlet syndrome" which caused a massive blood clot in my subclavian vein, which in turn caused me to have many pulmonary embolisms. I was in bad shape. Dr. Runge rushed into the hospital from being on call and performed the proper procedure to treat my blood clot immediately and effectively. At the time she first saw me, I had no idea what condition I had or what might've caused the clot, but it was her expertise that allowed me to get the proper diagnosis. She's incredibly smart and has a warm, calming demeanor about her. She took the time to talk with my husband in person after every procedure I had done, and also explained everything to me in person in the OR. After I was out of the hospital, she sent me info on a surgeon and physical therapist she recommended. If it weren't for her coming into work that first night I was in the ER, I'd be dead. I will forever be in debt to her!
