Take yourself and loved ones somewhere else. My mom was in there recently telling the person running her test to slow down the treadmil since she felt unsafe and he responded by making it faster and jerking on a needle that she had on her arm at the moment. These people are heartless. Do some research, go through reviews and pick a place where staff actually care for those seeking help.

I had a stress test at Cardiology associates on July 2nd 2024. A technician named Robert stayed with me the whole 3 hours and explained every step of the way. I had a very positive experience! Both my cardiologist and my primary care physician were sent the results the same day.

Cardiology Associates was asked to do a stress test on me as part of qualifying for a kidney transplant. The last time they did so, a false positive forced me to have an angiogram. First, they called me during dialysis. I told them to call me back that afternoon, as I only have one hand free during dialysis. They called me back at 11:30, when I was still at dialysis waiting to feel safe to drive home. Eventually they gave me an appointment today at 2:30 (or so I recorded it, not at home, down 30 IQ points from dialysis). They said they'd mail me instructions. I asked if they could email them. They said no. They gave me no suite information, just an address. Post dialysis I couldn't even remember their name. Today I showed up at 2:15. My appointment was for 2:00, not 2:30. I'd have been in there earlier if I wasn't reading the directory to try and guess where my appointment was. I never received paperwork in the mail. If I had, I'd have learned that I needed to be fasting for four hours beforehand, needed to have no caffeine yesterday, no aspirin. There was no phone or email reminder which would have corrected the appointment time and given me the suite number. I cannot have the angiogram until I have this test. Thus, the delay postpones when I might get my kidney transplant. The instructions say to take all my heart and blood pressure medications, which include aspirin, but not to take aspirin. Thus, this afternoon was wasted. I get to waste more time in a couple of weeks. I expect a little better communication in 2023. They did what I'd expect of a mediocre office last century. They didn't listen to me. Last time I got a false positive. I expect the same, as they seem to have deteriorated since 2020. Edit: 10/30/2024. There was no false positive so no need for an angiogram. I received my new kidney 5/30/2024 at UCLA. So things worked out.

My dr referred me to this practice a month ago. They called me to make an appointment. I made an appointment at the Oxnard location but somehow got switched to the Ventura location. They were busy so I was scheduled a month out. The appointment was tomorrow. They've called me 3 times today. One asking why I was visiting and who referred me. Later in the day called to tell me the dr I was scheduled with didn't treat hypertension but could get me in in 3 weeks with another dr. 5 minutes later they called me back to say that that dr didn't treat hypertension. So I've waited a month for absolutely nothing. It's really really frustrating to have an office mess up like this.

I have been seeing Dr. Dukes for 6 months and will soon have an AFIB ablation procedure. Dr. Dukes is an outstanding doctor and his physician assistant Brian is fantastic. Brian has been very helpful with my medical problems and with scheduling my hospital procedures. I highly recommend Cardiology Associates, if you desire the best medical care for your heart then Cardiology Associates is a great choice.
