Dr Patel is knowledgeable and definitely has my best interest in mind! He was able to use common sense examples to a complex multi- complex heart issue that truly made logical sense in determining the difference between moderate stenosis compared to severe stenosis of the aortic valve that other cardiologist were not able to do. Dr Patel is an outstanding physician and cardiac specialist. He and his residents offer great diagnosis of cardiac problems and superb treatment of these problems. They follow patient therapy to insure optimal outcome.

Dear Dr. Patel, I booked an appointment with you for my husband because I thought being the head of Cardiology at UC Irvine that would qualify you as one of the best. Apparently not the case. I find out later that not only is my husband on 4 different blood pressure medications including one you upped the dose on~! But he has also informed me that you never asked about his salt intake. The man salts his cucumbers and apples for God's sake~!! And that he is convinced that it is due to exposure to Agent Orange. Did I mention he salts his cucumbers? I have been begging him to stop and thought going to a professional specialist would take some of the worry off of me. I am exhausted being the guided health and welfare for our family. Exhausted. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I called a few days ago and while I understand that even though I am his spouse and you may not be able to discuss his issues directly with me I wanted to express my concerns of significant issues he may not be telling you or you irresponsibly not asking about. You never returned my call. So I will book him an appointment with my Naturopath who doesn't load you up with tons and tons of pharmaceuticals or maybe just spend the money on a concierge doctor that will give us the kind of care and CONCERN we are looking for. He is all I have. I will continue to be the warrior that I am and find the answers you could not provide.
