My husband was referred to Dr. Pashmforoush with intentions on planning a potential pacemaker replacement surgery. I have been with my husband throughout this entire process. From the first appointment we had with Dr. Pashmforoush he seemed like he didn't want to answer our questions and concerns. He seemed bothered by his questions and seemed to want to just confirm procedure with no real time to talk with my husband to answer his concerns about process and recovery. After reading previous reviews my husband wasn't the only one to feel this way and want to warn other to PLEASE CONSIDER ANOTHER DOCTOR FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE. The day of the procedure nurses kept telling me Dr. would come out to talk to me after the surgery was over which he never came out to do. Only the nurses told me when he was done with procedure and when to pick him up from Recovery room 2 hours later to go home. He sent My Husband home same day with no prescription for pain or anything else. Doctor didn't run any blood test to make sure he will be safe to do this procedure beforehand. And long story short 24 hours later my husband is in the emergency room and has been there for 2 days now due to this doctors lack of wanting to be thorough for this very serious procedure. We should have looked at reviews before going to this office and went with our gut feeling to pick another more professional, detailed, empathetic and kind doctor.

I switched to Dr Aaron Yung a year ago. He is a very professional Doctor that has laid out a plan for my health issues. He takes such great care of me. Dr Yung always answers my questions and explains in terms that I understand. He lets me know why he will do certain medical procedures. I always feel like I'm in "good hands" and getting the best medical care. During office visits , I never feel rushed. He takes his time to explain what he is doing to help me! I would recommend him as a very competent cardiologist!

This review is specifically about Dr. Mohammad Pashmforoush at the Oceanside location--not the entire practice. My 80-year-old father, who is still physically active and works full-time in landscaping, was referred here after one isolated episode of dizziness during a Southern California heat wave. Despite that context--and the fact that he hadn't experienced symptoms before or since--Dr. Pashmforoush quickly recommended a pacemaker, offering very little explanation and showing little interest in hearing our questions. The appointment itself lasted only three minutes, and as someone who values thorough medical care, I timed it because I felt something was off. We were scheduled just after lunch and were the first ones in the office. By the time we left a few minutes later, there were four other families waiting. Whether it was one doctor or several, the entire experience felt rushed and transactional--not like a thoughtful medical consultation about a life-altering device. It's hard not to question whether these conversations are happening with the care and depth patients deserve. My father is also a Spanish speaker, and he told me afterward that he didn't really understand why he was being scheduled for a procedure. Had he not told me about the appointment, I wouldn't have known at all that he was on the path toward surgery. That lack of clarity and communication is what made me step in--and what prompted us to get a second opinion. I understand that pacemakers are important in many cases. But families need space to ask questions, understand risks, and feel like they're being heard. Unfortunately, we didn't experience that with Dr. Pashmforoush. I would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before moving forward with any major procedure here.

Dr Pashmforoush has been very kind and informative, without rushing through appointments. He and Dr Young treated my mom in the ER and saved her life. He called me after surgery to inform me of her status and calmed my fears in a kind and caring manner. Thank you Dr Pashmforoush and Dr Young

I was referred to Dr. Pashmforoush on March 27, 2025. I was only able to make one contact with this office & was told to wait for a call back,..which never came. I called them daily for 3 days, kept leaving name & number as instructed but never got a call back. Finally called my referring Physician's ofc...his ofc could not get thru and weren't getting call backs either. Does the Doctor know how unprofessional his staff is, does he even care? Hopefully he sees this and "cleans house" to save his practice! Think I'm just impatient? Today is April 24, nearly 30 days passed the referral date - figure another several weeks before an appointment is available & before I can return to my referring Doctor
