Vivek Iyer, MD, MSE is a cardiac electrophysiologist, specializing in treating heart rhythm abnormalities. Dr Iyer completed undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, also earning an MSE (Master's) degree in Biomedical Engineering. His medical school training was completed at Harvard Medical School, followed by clinical training at Columbia University Medical Center. Subsequently, as faculty at Columbia University, his work resulted in over 30 peer-reviewed publications, with a particular focus on advanced catheter ablation techniques and understanding fundamental mechanisms for arrhythmia formation. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
