Rancho Family Medical Group- Murrieta

I was scheduled with Jennifer Boozer because the scheduling department specifically placed me with her, stating that she could get me back on track with my ADHD and thyroid medicines. The lack of being on those meds has caused me considerable frustration and depression. She said she needs blood work for the thyroid medicine (ok) and she DOES NOT write prescriptions for any ADHD meds, stimulant or not, and she gave me a psych referral. She also stated that the scheduling department has previously been made aware of this. Her "bedside manner" was lacking. This appointment was on the tail end of 2 recent scheduling mistakes (I know I had an appointment scheduled on the previous Monday because I scheduled one of my daughters for later the same day, and have it in my notes), but they put me on the schedule for the previous Friday. With that, there have already been 3 mistakes made by the office, and I am just getting started as a new patient with this office. I told the office that I expect to NOT be charged a "no show fee" for the previous Friday, and told the provider I was irritated to have my time wasted by showing up for an appointment that was incorrectly booked. I was told to dispute it if I get billed. Yet another waste of my time, and no effort, by the office, to correct anything. It gives me absolutely no faith in wanting to return to this medical office. With that, my rating is regarding my over all experience so far.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. The staff did a great job printing out the referrals that I needed. Dr. Boozer did a gentle yet thorough examination of my injury. She clearly explained her diagnosis and recommendations for care and immediately gave me a referral to a sports medicine specialist as well as to Physical Therapy.

My provider (Todd Baca) is very kind and respectful. My issue lies with the assistance of the office staff in placing imaging orders and coordinating with my insurance, as well as communicating effectively with me. I had an MRI ordered in September 9/5 that was denied because the office didn't provide sufficient medical records. It was finally reordered on 10/15 after many calls to the office and denied again because they didn't provide sufficient medical records again. I have called 6 times since September, with no real help and lots of "you'll get a call back" with no call back. I have also messaged the office in My Chart at least 4 times since September with not a single response or acknowledgment. This office is currently accepting new patients, however they don't have the time to help existing patients. This entire process has been extremely frustrating while being in immense pain and trying to coordinate with this office, my insurance and the imaging center to see if there's anything I can do since they won't assist me. I truly hope the office can improve communication and follow-through so that future patients don't experience the same delays and stress. It's especially concerning that someone may experience this type of care and not have the mental or physical abilities to try and advocate for themselves.

Patients beware I should've paid more attention to the other reviews. As far as the medical office billing incorrectly to insurance husband went in for a physical somehow we are getting billed for over $300. I spoke to the billing department. They said that the appointment was scheduled as a regular office visit and that's how it's bills now I'm waiting on the office manager to give me a call as the appointment was for a physical. They came into the doctors room to confirm the physical appointment with zero payment to them. Why did we discuss everything that involves a physical and you not bill it as a physical???? why are we getting charged more but yet if we were a cash payment we would only pay 125 for the office visit? Makes no sense! we should've stayed with our primary doctor thank God we have a PPO as we will not be returning. There is some serious insurance fraud taking place at this facility.

Dr Mueller, is an angel walking amongst humans. He truly cares about his patients. I went in for a physical and he went through my whole history and left no stone unturned. I have never felt so confident with a doctors care as I do with Dr mueller. He must have spent at least 40 mins with me. Dr mueller is the best around. I am so glad I found him.
