Patient
We were referred here from our primary doctor for my two year olds broken collarbone. Our first appointment was outstanding, no complaints. Our follow up appointment was unacceptable. We weren't even able to be seen due to the wait time, 45 plus minutes. There was no notice or heads up about this at check-in. I didn't even think twice about it because we were seen so quickly the first time. When I realized how long we had been waiting I kindly asked the front desk lady, Elizabeth, and she was beyond rude. I did check in 3 minutes late for the appointment but had done all my paperwork online for the check in, so there was nothing for Elizabeth to do initially. When I asked if everything was okay she blamed me for checking in late and said the provider can choose to not even see me. There was no heads up at check in about this. Then she didn't even have the provider, who was supposed to be seeing my son, up on the white board of providers. She proceeds to go into the back to ensure that the provider was still willing to see me due to my 3 minute delinquency, mind you this is after I'd already waited for 45 minutes with a two year old who was now ready for snack and there's no food or drink allowed inside the office. She comes back to the front and then tells me it's an additional 60 minute wait on-top of the 45 minutes I'd already waited. Then proceeds to add the provider to the white board and moves the magnet to the 60 minute mark. There were no signs of, "what happens if you check in a few minutes late" or, "if you've been waiting longer than 15 minutes let the front desk know" no posted signs of anything in the office. Unacceptable treatment from Rady's and a rude front desk lady Elizabeth.
