Dr. Parekh just put two stents in my LAD artery after a 99% blockage. What a difference! I'm very grateful to him and the entire catheter lab and ER team at Loma Linda Murrieta. Dr. Parekh visited with me ahead of time and updated my family afterword... very friendly and accessible, and obviously very competent.

This doctor is an embarrassment to the entire profession of cardiology. I saw him once, about a year ago, and he was so horrible that the office promised that I'd never have to see him again. Somehow they booked me with him again this time and he was actually worse, which I didn't think was possible. I have a history of heart failure and he dismissed every concern I had and laughed at me and said "that's not my problem" when I talked about having chest pains. Yes, a CARDIOLOGIST told someone with a history of heart failure describing chest pains that it wasn't his problem that it's my primary care doctor's problem. Because my calcium scan score was low, a test that he didn't order, he couldn't care less about my chest pains. I explained the reason I had concerns about and that's when he told me it wasn't his problem.
He did a 2 second listen to my heart, I mean literally 2 seconds, no exaggeration, I think he was just checking a box.
He laughed at my concerns and said "we've been through this before, man". That's an exact quote. I'm assuming he was talking about the last time he blew me off and insulted me.
I told the office to make sure his appointment notes show that someone with a history of heart failure complained of chest pains and he said it wasn't a problem. That way, if I drop dead from a heart attack at least my wife can sue him for malpractice.
If you have an appointment with Cardiology Specialists in Murrieta, I'm telling you, tell them you will not see this guy. He's a pathetic doctor. I've seen a lot of doctors in my life and he's by far the worst. It's not even close. He shouldn't even be practicing medicine with a pathetic bedside manner like that. I'll be writing reviews about him in as many places as I can find.

Dr. Parekh was recommended by my cardiologist to perform a mitral valve clip implant into my heart. Despite the fact that he had never laid eyes on me prior to meeting in the hospital, he did a masterful job. After the surgery, I awoke and wondered if I had been canceled out. I was painfree and feeling terrific. Now 12 days after surgery, my strength is returning and I feel years younger and am getting into an exercise routine. I would certainly recommend this gentleman for this specialty surgery he has done. A previous review stated that he doesn't manage his schedule well, but I know he is dedicated to excellence in his craft and if a job requires extra time, he will extend a normal procedure without complaint and see the job through.

BEWARE! I STRONGLY advise finding another cardiologist. I am going to keep this vague but it's important to help others avoid this Doctor at all costs.
