Much better location and staff, very friendly and helpful and super sweet, than the one in Los Gatos, will be patroning this SimonMed Imaging place from now on, plus it's so close to home!
Note: this SimonMed only has encapsulated MRI machine (so your entire head & body are entombed = shudders). If you need Wide Bore MRI then you'll need to go to SimonMed Santa Clara location.
Also their X-ray tech is only available on Wednesdays 8:30am - 4pm.
And note this office is closed for lunch: 11:30am - 12:30pm

I was scheduled for a 1:00 PM yesterday, with one person ahead of me - about a twenty minute wait for my MRI. My MRI technician was a very kind and considerate medical professional. I did take a prescribed low dose anti anxiety medication, seeing that I'm an extra large person of 260 pounds. The cylindrical area I fit into was slightly snug; hence the need for needing a medication with its calming effect for keeping myself relaxed.
I can't tell you how grateful I was when the technician "Daniel" asked me before the MRI procedure if the prescribed medicine was working for me yet, which I assured him --it was in fact helping me relax. He (Daniel) was a very considerate and amicable person.
And the administration desk attendant "Jeanette" was a very thoughtful and courteous person as well. My experience receiving my MRI last approximately 30-35 minutes, seeing I had two parts of my body to cover for my completed MRI request. My sister waited patiently for me so she could drive me home, after the MRI was completed.
Overall, I had an "excellent experience with very nice and truly responsible and completely professional employees from Simon Med."

I had a bone density and there was some issues with the paperwork. The person at check in was very helpful and really helped contacting the doctor trying to troubleshoot every which way to help. Very kind and helpful; and appreciated. I had driven 2 hours to that appointment. So thank you.

Janet in the office was very helpful indeed. She recognized that I did not need my insurance card as I have Medicare. No-one else could tell me this and I spent about 2-3 hours on the phone talking to several departments, who hardly spoke English, about the need to reschedule my appointment because the insurance authorization had not been received.
Thank goodness for Janeth!!
Please thank her for me and for your
company.

Great on-site staff and facility. But their (overseas?) call-center scheduling is a nightmare. Make sure you verify the State of your appointment
Apparently there are two Simon med imaging Mountain View. One in CALIFORNIA & another in ARIZONA.
Of course I was initially booked for the incorrect location in Arizona. Thought it was just a fluke and rescheduled. I get to the California one (like I originally intended) and hear two separate people in the lobby mention experiencing the same thing-- being booked for the Arizona location when wanting the California location. To make matters worse, it sounded like an ongoing issue!
