Dr.Shaheen is an expert in treating complicated varicose veins.He has treated my mother's varicose veins throughout the years (15 years) and I have seen great improvements. Under Dr.Shaheen's care, my mother feels safe and confident knowing that her varicose veins will always be treated before complications, pain and suffering arise. I was so fortunate to find and be treated by Dr. Raymond Shaheen of Shaheen Vascular in Mountain View, CA. I was visiting family from out of state when I developed severe pain and inflammation in my lower leg which continued to worsen. Dr. Shaheen was able to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan. The treatment plan was personally tailored to my situation and not a "one-size fits all" approach to vein intervention. In addition to mitigating vein insufficiency, Dr. Shaheen was able to treat an area of one leg which remained painful 4 years following a clot in a varicose vein. The treatment provided relief that I didn't imagine could be possible. Dr. Shaheen's years of experience and numerous Board Certifications provided an extra measure of confidence in trusting my care to Shaheen Vascular.

I can't give enough positive feedback about my experience with Dr. Shaheen! I recently underwent RFA treatment on my legs for vascular insufficiency. I found Dr. Shaheen when I was searching for vascular surgeons in Mountain View who were part of my Blue Shield PPO. Dr. Shaheen was extremely educational and knowledgeable. He examined me and explain several different options. I decided to proceed with the RFA treatment, which was done in-office. The procedure was minimally invasive and I drove home. Fast forward to the followup visit a week later and my results were nothing short of spectacular! My fluid retention is almost nil and I am now pain free in my right ankle. I had been putting off a vascular consult for over 5 years and I now wish I had seen Dr. Shaheen sooner. If you need a vascular surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Shaheen. Plus, he's a really nice guy, which is a bonus!

It has been one year since my abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery and I am 100% glad I had Dr. Shaheen as my surgeon. His bedside manners and patient care team perfectly met my needs throughout this major surgery. Importantly - he explained to me why he would be performing a specific operation and everything to expect throughout the entire process: diagnosis, pre-op, post-op, and the extensive recovery.
