My husband has been a patient of Dr. Joye's since 2017 when Dr. Joye stented his one remaining renal artery. Since then he has placed multiple stents in his arteries and has given my husband a quality of life that would not have been possible if it weren't for Dr Joye's expertise and talent. If you are a person that is an "arterial plaque maker" Dr. Joye is a life saver. He is pleasant , professional and can stent almost any vessel in a human body. Great staff and facility at Ryan Ranch. Monterey County is very fortunate to have Dr. Joye's services available.

I must say, Dr.Joye is an excellent cardiologist/surgeon, and the master of stents. Very bright man, with some exceptional, impressive skills and I could not be more grateful and appreciative. Admittedly, the health care system has me very concerned, but Joye, and the skill and professionalism he brought to the table, literally, was a bright light in an otherwise dark place.

I could not go to two of my follow up appointments because of this offices and pretty much every doctors offices policy on COVID. When my prescription for Atenolol fell from my cabinet and spilled I lost quite a few and would not have it for days, I requested a refill until I could come in and see this Dr. (I was told they were on vacation and not staff there could write or refill my prescription) the person said "well I'll try but you didn't show up to your last appointments...". I hope no one else gets their medicine withheld or not refilled for similar reasons or get scrutinized for following the guidelines that this doctors office implemented. I'm sorry but there should be contingencies in place when patients medicine is damaged or lost. This was a horrible experience and I hope this warns others to keep some extra medicine in case something like this happens to them.
