I lost both of my grandfathers to heart disease at a young age, and therefore I feel I have a personal calling to this field. I was inspired to have a career that allows me to change people's lives in such a positive and tangible way. My special clinical interests include valve repair and replacement, CABG with arterial revascularization, aortic dissection, catheter-based valve intervention, surgical ablation for atrial fibrillation. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, traveling, sailing, snowboarding, and lacrosse. I treat my patients as if they were members of my own family, with compassion and respect, while delivering expert care, during what may be the most stressful time of their lives.
