I gave it 2 stars cause the extra star was for Dr.Murphy who no longer works there unfortunately. I've seen 2 different docs since he left and both were HORRIBLE!! Dr.Vyas is a complete joke and rude as hell. I'm on blood thinners for life and see a hematologist whom told me to see my cardiologist after a recent trip to ER spiked me D-dimer levels really high. The ct scan came back normal at ER but my hematologist wanted me to see cardiologist. Dr.Vyas said that since I had a good heart cath procedure in January of 2023 I'm fine and it's not my heart. He dismissed me real quick. So is he saying nothing can happen between last test and now? Thank GOD stanford arrhythmia clinic got ahold of me next day..guess what they did? They ordered a nuclear stress test and echocardiogram to be on safe side.. this place is a joke..maybe there are other good docs there but will never ever see Dr.Vyas again. The nurses and the ones who answer phones are really nice.i will give them that

This office is a nightmare, the worst I've dealt with since my health crisis. I called with a question a week ago; nobody got back to me. When they finally called the next week, they had no idea why. It's a circus over there. Dr. Romillo has the worst bedside manner of the seven doctors I've met. He's too much of a "rockstar" to be reached, clearly more interested in his paycheck than patient care. He struts in like Clint Eastwood, rude and unprofessional, blurting out inaccuracies in front of my family instead of discussing things privately. Compared to other doctors, he's obscenely rude. After surgery, he couldn't even provide a doctor's note. A week later, his secretary informed me they don't do notes. It seems he just walks around with a superstar attitude without actually doing anything helpful. This office is a disgrace, contributing to California's healthcare problems with egotistical doctors and gatekeeping secretaries. I've seen some dire medical offices, but this one is the worst, prompting me to write my first one-star review. Consider the significance of me taking the time to write this. Big middle finger.

Hopefully they'll l let me do zero stars, this place is a joke. Everyone I know who's gone here hates it. Where to start. Went to ER in mid September for cardiac issues. ER Dr. referred me to see cardiologist at valley heart within 3-5 days max. Couldn't get an appt for 3.5 weeks. Day of the appt I called to confirm time, THEY NEVER EVEN MADE THE APPOINTMENT. Told me they'd call back shortly. Called back 15 mins later and set an appointment for a week away. Ok, fine. Called me back 1.5 mind later to tell me the appointment we just made doesn't actually work, and that I'd have to wait ANOTHER 3 weeks, and oh btw, that will just be a consult, no actual tests or check up will be done. Appt setter unbelievably rude, interrupting my simple questions, being short with me. Finally made it to the appointment. Dr comes in room, says maybe 10 words, most of which are historical questions the nurse had just asked. I tried to ask him a few simple questions about what the heck is going on or what might be bauxite causing my issues, how to improve, cut me off and answered one question, walked out of room. That 2.5 weeks ago and I'm currently still waiting to GET an appt for a SINGLE test. It's been 2 months since I went to the ER. Gotta love Modesto. I went here 20yrs ago and saw a Dr who also worked at UCSF and couldn't have been more impressed. Have heard from everyone I've asked that has been there in last couple years they didn't have a great experience. My guess is that competent Dr.s built the business, then sold it.

Although I like the Doctor, I'm only giving my rating two stars because of the staff. The phone operator is always very RUDE. She has no respect for the patients. The office manager De Ann, is always on her side and never does anything to improve the situation. So don't bother complaining to her because you'll be wasting your time.

This place has a wonderful very very overworked staff. I was on hold 1 hour 45 minutes and was actually getting rather disgusted. I called a different number associated with the office and was able to get connected to the manager. Due to being short staffed, only 4 people seeing 200 patients today and someone quitting on Friday the wait times on the phone are not good. I'd say if you're vaccinated and want to work in the medical field "the world is yours for the taking" or as the old saying goes "the world is you oyster" Thank you to all the people working in medics trying to continue to help those of us that need you!! God be with you and God Bless You.
