I would not recommend. I was seeing him in Turlock at valley heart and he stopped going there, the lady said I can go to Modesto to see Dr.Khalon or get the Dr who took over the practice in Turlock. I choose Turlock because it is 5 minutes from my house. Dr.Khalon wants me to get a device implanted in my heart but I just went through 2 major surgeries in the last year and do not want something in my heart. Dr.Khalon put me on blood thinners but my first heart doctor said I don't need them. It is a long story how I came to Dr.Khalon because my thyroid surgeon and Dr.Reza in Turlock couldn't agree on something on his report. My surgeon pretty much made got to Khalon. All to find out Dr.Reza was right in the beginning. I have to wait a month to see the new heart doctor and my blood thinner prescription ran out 3 days ago and Dr.Khalon refused to fill them. He is throwing a fit because I don't want the watchman device in my heart. If something happens to me it is on him. Maybe he wants a big pay day to take a vacation or something but it won't be at my expense. I thought he was good at first but he is arrogant and childish and throwing a tantrum. I would stay away if I were anyone else. Like I said I don't know the dangers of suddenly stopping my blood thinners but we will soon find out. Like I said if something happens this is on him! And his nurse is rude and just awful.
