I entered Mission Hospital on Easter Sunday of this year after a couple weeks of extreme fatigue and insomnia and swelling in my ankles to find out I was experiencing heart failure. When I was told it was heart failure I figured it was a death sentence. I will always remember the day when Dr. Jay E, Tiongson MD visited my room and told me he was going to give me a complete rebuild. A fib took my active lifestyle away at 50 yrs old!
No Tyroid, no high blood pressure, no high cholesterol my A Fib took my by surprise which for me was totally hereditary! Determined not to live on meds I decided to do the Ablation surgery, 7 wks ago today & no A Fib episodes which ruled my life every 2wks!
Dr Jay was amazing I traveled from Temecula just to see him & mission Viejo hospital was great. It was hard the 1st 3 weeks but I'm getting stronger everyday and can actually breath and workout again.
