Dr. Joyce P Lazarus

Dr. Lazarus is an absolutely horrible doctor. I highly recommend you look elsewhere before seeing her, as the only thing she specialized while in school was making her patients feel uncomfortable and belittled. She may have passed medical school, but if she had to pass any test regarding human decency and listening, she'd be bottom of the class. At her elderly age, I expected her to at least know how to properly communicate to her patients, but I suppose she is still working on it.

Dr. Lazarus is amazing! I've gone through several doctors to get some answers, but I was getting nowhere. She actually took the time to understand my concerns and provided the best care I could've gotten. She even followed up multiple times and continues to do so. I'm nearly an hour away, but I still make the drive as I appreciate her thoughtfulness in providing care.

I had my second appointment today with Kristian Miles and I'm so happy for her care and service. I've been seeing doctor Lazarus for years and never expected to have the same stellar care from another person. That's my fault for not expecting the best from someone even though that's all I I've ever received here. I have my expectations blown away every time coming to see her. When I arrive I never have to give my name. I'm always greeted by my name and smiles. Before my visit was finished Dr. Lazarus popped in to see how "I" was doing? Not just as a patient but as someone that really cares how I'm doing. I was very sick and miserable when I first met her and I know without her abilities as a physician and as a true caring person, I know I would not be able to write about her and her team. When you are a patient it really pays to be patient.

Geez... remember people there are two sides to every story and the negative reviews you are seeing are very one-sided. People can be so petty and cruel with their reviews towards doctors (as well as other medical personnel) knowing full well that they are helpless to respond back to the negative allegations made about them. I have NEVER liked going to the doctor and I still do not. I drive over 30 miles just to see Dr. Joyce P. Lazarus because I genuinely feel cared about by her. I am not the best at following the doctor's orders or taking my health seriously as I should, but she has NEVER disrespected me for my CHOICES. She understands why I make the choices that I do and still chooses to help and care for me. Remember, doctors are humans too. They are under a lot of stress trying to look after their patients and their well-being. I have NOT had a bad experience with Dr. Lazarus and I highly recommend her as your personal healthcare provider. I am guilty of looking and accepting the negative reviews of people and/or businesses... just don't be dissuaded by a one-sided account. Use your best judgement and find out for yourself. You will not regret it.

Dr Lazarus was very impatient on this last visit. She was complaining to me why did I used a different dr than her in the last 3 years. I just didn't walk out because I really need this physical test. I felt humiliated and that way she was acting. I will find a different doctor and ask for the test results to be transfered to my new doctor. She is a totally different person that the one I met 3 years ago. This was the worst Doctor appointment I ever had.
